About The Post
W e are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage the delivery of an efficient and effective multi-disciplined operational team working within Neighbourhood Services.
The Area Council Team Leader will manage the day-to-day function s of the team in conjunction wit h the Area Council Manager. The team will be responsible for a range of front-line services aimed at improving the local area and working with volunteer and community groups, duties will including (but not limited to) fly tipping removal, litter picking, pruning and tidying of greenspaces, assisting with community events and general grounds maintenance tasks .
You will be required to undertake some administrative duties, including basic report writing and will be available to accompany the Area Council Manager to meetings where you will give updates on the team's activities on a quarterly basis.
You will have good communication and negotiation skills and have some experience of coordinating operational teams. You will have knowledge of health and safety procedures, relevant legislation and have experience of documenting and implementing operational working practices.
