Teaching Assistant – Middlesbrough
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £507 – £550 per week
Hours: Monday – Friday | Full-time/Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Milk Education is recruiting a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils and teachers in primary schools across Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced TAs to make a real difference in an inclusive environment that champions diversity, equality, and pupil wellbeing.
The Role – Teaching Assistant
1. Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, including those with SEND
2. Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
3. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Prepare learning resources and support administrative tasks
5. Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
Essential Requirements
6. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
7. Experience working in schools or with children
8. Ability to support pupils with additional learning needs
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about helping children learn
