We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. The accounts function is the backbone of our business and is central to ensuring that we consistently deliver a best-in-class service both internally and externally with our clients and suppliers. You will have access to the best tools for the role and will be working alongside a Director dedicated to ensuring you’re supported on your journey with us.
Key responsibilities
* Maintaining Credit Control
* Collection of outstanding invoices
* Regular liaison with clients
* Maintaining the purchase ledger
* Coding and processing supplier invoices
* Monthly BACS run
* Managing the interim/contractors onboarding processing
* Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
* Monitor and reconcile company credit card purchases
* Inputting expenses for payroll/journals
* Monthly intergroup invoicing
* Monthly inter‑company reconciliations
* Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
* Collating information from placement sheets for analysis
* Other ad‑hoc finance duties to support the Finance Director
Skills and Qualifications
* At least 3 years of financial experience in an accounts environment
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
