We are looking to employ a front of house shift manager to join our small team. We are a 14 bedroom Hotel, with a Pub and Restaurant, popular with locals and visitors to the area.
Experience in the Hospitality trade is essential, but training for the Hotel would be given to the successful applicant. You must be confident in running a Bar and Restaurant.
The role involves breakfast shifts (7am) serving residents, sorting Hotel paperwork and emails. The afternoon shift (3pm) includes checking in Hotel guests, running the Restaurant, assisting the bar staff, if necessary, cashing up and closing down.
Commitment, reliability and flexibility are essential. The rotas are provided in advance and we try to have regular shifts where possible, although this sometimes has to alter to cover holidays and busy shifts. This position covers Monday 15.00 to close, Tuesday 07.00 to 10.30 and 15.00 to close. Friday 15.00 to close and Sunday 07.30 to close
We are still open on slightly restricted hours, but the shift pattern allows approximately 35 hours per week. This includes early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
Full job description will be discussed at the interview. If you are passionate about the Hospitality trade and want to gain experience, if you have common sense and the drive necessary, get in touch.
