The Families First Advice line offer advice, support and guidance for families and professionals in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The team offer a personal service aimed at listening to the needs of each family. By working with parents / carers / professionals the team support individuals to resolve their concerns independently or identify other services that can offer support.

About the role
Pay Details: Grade 6: SCP – 14 – 19 (£29,540-£32,061) p.a.
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 37 hours
Main Place of Work: Barry Community Enterprise Centre/Home
Temporary Reason: Families First grant funded until March 2028 - continuation of the post past March 2022 is subject to Welsh Government funding.
Description: To provide advice and guidance to families/carers, initially by telephone, in line with the Families First guidance, relevant national standards and local and national legislation and guidance.
About you
You will need:
1. Experience of working in an appropriate statutory/voluntary setting with children/young people and families.
2. 5 GCSEs grades C and above or equivalent.
3. High level of personal motivation and ability to motivate others.
