EF Brighton International Language Campus is seeking an organised and proactive Academic Coordinator to join our team for summer 2026.
Position Details
- Full-time
- 5 days a week
- Fixed-term contract between June 22nd – August 14th 2026

Responsibilities
- Oversee class scheduling and student timetabling
- Assist with placement testing and student intake processes
- Monitor student attendance and ensure policy compliance
- Support teachers with academic administration and classroom resources
- Coordinate weekly academic reports and ensure students receive certificates
- Assist students with academic queries and exam bookings
- Maintain accurate academic records and data management
- Cover classes for absent teachers
- Work closely with the Academic Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- CELTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills
- Sensitive to the needs of international students
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service
- Has strong administrative and organisational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internal databases
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
- C2 level of English
