Overview
My client is a specialist membership organisation offering support and financial services to business across the UK. It is a smaller organisation operating in a real niche but with an exciting future including potential international expansion. Due to progression and succession an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a capable and commercial CFO, with financial services experience, to join the Board to support the CEO and the ongoing strength and growth of the organisation with a view to the potential of a future CEO role.
Reporting to the CEO and the Board your role will provide influence and development across all areas of the organisation with your role and influence including:
Responsibilities
* Identify, support and deliver continuous improvement and positive change across the whole organisation including expansion of commercial offering
* Overview and continuous improvement of end to end commercial strategy, processes and delivery
* Drive improved structure and process for strategic planning & execution
* Lead the development of data-led planning, budgeting, forecasting and growth (potentially in overseas services)
* Lead and develop the finance function
* Lead and manager relationships with actuarial and investment partners
* Own and deliver all elements of regulatory reporting and compliance
* Own and deliver all key financial & commercial reporting & analysis
Qualifications
* A Qualified Accountant with experience in a similar profile role
* Experience of a Solvency II environment and clearly exhibit the expertise to lead in a similar landscape
* No known risk of failing to achieve FCA & PRA approval
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to clearly exhibit success in a similar role within the financial services / insurance industries, and be able to articulate their approach and track record in delivering positive change and improvement.
