The Company
A global leader in industrial drive systems is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead their North of England team. With a strong reputation in the industry and a focus on innovation, this is a fantastic opportunity to manage a high-performing team while shaping regional growth.
The Role
You will manage a team of 5 Area Sales Managers, covering the M62 corridor up to the Scottish border, focusing on geared motor products. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and developing the regional sales team, providing hands-on management
* Achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth across the territory
* Collaborating with other regional managers to maximise the company’s potential
* Spending around 50% of your time in the field with your team, with hybrid working from home for the remainder
* Act as technical and commercial support to the team, using management skills to identify the needs of each member to best develop and grow to reach goals and targets
* Take full responsibility for the regions turnover and product mix targets
About You
* Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will demonstrate natural leadership skills with experience managing sales teams
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders
* Industry experience in food & beverage, materials handling, or automotive is a strong advantage
* Solid understanding of the fundamentals of power, speed, and torque
* Comfortable leading by example and supporting your team across the region
