* A day in the life of a Lettings Branch Manager
o Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
o Coaching the team to achieve KPI’s
o Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (Including but not limited to conducting one-to-one meetings)
o Encourage your teams development and progression
o Strong focus on generating new and repeat business
o Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
o Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
o Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
o Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.
* Essential Skills of a Lettings Branch Manager
o Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
o Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher
o Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
o Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other
o The ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
o The ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
o A strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
o Ability to manage time sensitive and high volume workloads
o A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
o Ability to work under own initiative
o Good telephone manner
o Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
o Attention to detail
