Salary: £49,636 + excellent benefits

Working area: Hertfordshire and surrounding counties
Contract: Twelve month fixed term contract
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Included: Van & fuel card for business usage

About the Role
As a Homes and Maintenance Partner you will manage a team of up to 12 Repairs Operatives and work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will oversee inspections, scheduling, ordering of repairs, monitor contractor performance, support continuous improvement and provide technical advice to keep customers satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and support a team delivering repairs across our homes
* Monitor performance and drive improvements in line with service targets
* Manage income and expenditure to ensure repairs offer good value for money
* Ensure health and safety and customer service standards are met
* Apply a good understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System
* Plan and prioritise work to meet agreed timescales
* Keep records and systems updated, including our Housing Management System
* Investigate and respond to complaints and enquiries
* Make sure team members have the right training and support
* Hold team meetings and one‑to‑one sessions
* Promote a culture of customer satisfaction, right first time and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Must haves
* Strong IT skills
* Experience managing a team
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Ability to work as part of a multi‑functional team
* Ability to complete paperwork accurately
* Willingness to support and cover other managers when needed

* Willingness to work towards professional development through the Chartered Institute of Housing
* Ability to take part in the manager out of hours standby scheme if required
* Experience in a housing or property related environment
