NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Respiratory service based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) Glasgow.

There are two posts available:

* 24.70 hours post will support the Lung Cancer service
* 17.76 hours post will support the Cystic Fibrosis service

Both posts will provide cross cover support across the wider respiratory team.

* You will be expected to provide efficient and effective medical secretarial support to consultants and associated medical/nursing staff.
* You should have an awareness of medical terminology and have a high degree of typing speed and accuracy.
* It is desirable the candidates have experience in using Trakcare, Winscribe and Clinical Portal.
* The ability to work under pressure, managing deadlines and responding to changing priorities is essential.
* The post holder should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to set up documents and maintain and update databases/spreadsheet.
