Job Description
This role involves managing core financial functions such as accounts payable/receivable, tax, audit, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess with strong management skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead and develop a team.
Key requirements for the position include:
o Strong experience in tax compliance/planning
o Expertise in financial controls/risk
o Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting/cost control
o Leadership and development of a small finance function
o Financial strategy
o Cashflow and treasury management
o External stakeholder management, banks, auditors, etc
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar sized global business and be comfortable in a matrix structured environment reporting into the Group CFO and interaction with Global CEO.
o Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
o 10 + years of progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership. Working experiences in accounting firms or similar industry are preferred.
o Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing practices and tax regulations.
o Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred)
o Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas, data analysis)
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
o Effective communication and leadership skills
o High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
