Site Surveyor – Retrofit Works (WPS)

Are you a commercially savvy Site Surveyor with a passion for delivering excellence in Retrofit works? We're looking for a proactive and driven individual to join our WPS team, covering the Oxfordshire area.
Your Role
Take full accountability for the development and implementation of all pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting across delegated projects and work packages.
What You'll Be Doing
* Health & Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with group SHE policies, conduct site safety samples, and review subcontractor safety performance.
* People & Leadership: Support team development through PDRs and training, seek growth opportunities beyond surveying, and drive performance through regular reviews.
* Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with clients and consultants, understand their drivers, and enhance Wates' service offering.
* Commercial Management: Manage subcontract packages, contribute to procurement strategies, issue tender enquiries, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
* Process & Performance: Make sound commercial decisions, maximise value recovery, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Qualifications
* MSc or BA Hons in Quantity Surveying or similar
