About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Taunton seeking a dedicated Biology Specialist Science Teacher to join their Science department on a full-time, permanent basis, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to teach across KS3 to KS5 within a school known for its supportive culture and commitment to excellent education.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students of all abilities
* Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and progress
* Contribute actively to curriculum development and extra-curricular science activities
* Maintain high standards of assessment, behaviour management, and pupil achievement
Who We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Biology (ECTs warmly welcomed)
* Strong experience teaching Biology at KS4 (GCSE) with the ability to deliver engaging lessons
* Ideally, experience teaching Biology at A-Level (KS5)
* Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to high expectations
* A passion for science education and the development of every student
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities
