Job: Learning Support Assistant Start Date: September Duration: Mon - Friday 32.5 hours // Permanent Pay: £90 - £100 a day We are working alongside a dynamic and inspiring secondary school in Mid Cornwall. The school is offering an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, you will have a vital and proactive role in supporting the educational, social, emotional, communication and physical development of learners with Special Educational Needs. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to join the team As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working closely with passionate teachers, you'll help to adapt and bring the curriculum to life, breaking down barriers and unlocking every learners potential. You'll take an active part in the dynamic organisation of class activities, lead engaging small group and individual 1:1 sessions, and helping to create a vibrant learning environment where every learner can thrive, feel valued and achieve beyond expectations. The appropriate qualifications are required, however relevant experience in a similar role are desirable, however an appreciation of the needs and support of others such as working in care would be transferable. The right candidate will posses a desire to assist in the learning and educational development of children. An understanding and commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children is vital.
