About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Health Care Assistant to join our team within the Children’s Outpatient Department at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
The role involves caring for and supporting infants, children, and young people aged 0-16 years, along with their families, while attending the Children’s Outpatient Department. Good communication skills, including IT proficiency, are essential, and experience in venipuncture with children is desirable.
Main duties of the job
We offer a comprehensive induction program supported by a friendly team. The role provides opportunities for training and career development.
Responsibilities include supporting the smooth operation of children’s clinics, performing physiological measurements, point of care testing, and assisting nursing staff with day case procedures.
This position is for 16 hours per week, from 08:30 to 17:00, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday based on service needs.
