Do you have experience in designing and delivering curriculum? Do you enjoy teaching and working within education? If so, this may be the role for you.
KMMS Education Fellows contribute to the development and delivery of our undergraduate BM BS programme in various settings, including group tutorials, team-based learning, large group lectures, and in the areas of assessment, anatomy, and clinical skills, as well as communications skills and simulation. Education Fellows will also be expected to contribute to multi-station mini-interviews (MMIs), assessment work such as question writing, marking, standard setting, moderating and OSCE examination. Education Fellows are also expected to actively input on course development; programme evaluation and curriculum changes as is needed.
As Education Fellow (Year 3) you can expect to be involved in:
* Participating in the delivery of small and medium-sized groups (workshops and seminars) and full cohort (lectures), including preparation, coordination and administration of teaching sessions.
* Contributing to the creation, development and evaluation of course material for student-centred learning
* Collaborating with academic and professional colleagues on course development and curriculum changes.
What will you bring to the role?
* A Medical/Healthcare degree and/ or diploma
* Demonstration of recent clinical experience within the NHS
* A demonstrable interest in teaching and learning in undergraduate or postgraduate learning and teaching in medicine or a closely related discipline
