About the job you’re considering

An exciting opportunity to work as part of a growing UK department supporting multiple clients as part of the Capgemini portfolio. We are looking for a People Lead to support our engineers and subject matter experts in their delivery to our clients.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Some time required on-site in Heathrow

Your role

1. Ensure the support of performance reviews, career conversations and general leadership of people to get the best from them.
2. Drive the attainment of objectives, contribute to those objectives and drive success overall in the team.
3. Support, understand and empathise with account challenges and complexities and to ensure resolution of such.
4. Act as a point of escalation for account issues related to people, resource planning and new work take on.
5. Manage the costs of resources, undertake hiring and other items to ensure the right people are in the right places.
6. Where needed, support meetings to resolve concerns, define best practice approaches and ensure successful delivery

Your skills and experience

7. Knowledge of End User Services / Digital Modern Workplace would be advantageous.
8. ITIL understanding / applications would be of benefit.
9. Refined communication and organisational skills and the ability to talk to Engineers, End users, Senior Management, and Third-Party suppliers amongst others.
10. Experience of leading multidisciplined teams with differing priorities.
11. Financial acumen for management of costs.
12. Coaching and/or mentoring experience
13. Able to resolve and have difficult conversations with regards to approaches and performance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
