Position Details
* Location: Highbridge
* Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
* Specific Hours: 38 hours per week
* Salary:
o Unqualified: Up to £32,375.89 (including sleep-in shifts)
o Qualified: Up to £33,640.53 (including sleep-in shifts)
Your Role
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our children's residential home, working closely with young people who exhibit challenging behavior. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality childcare to help young people achieve their best outcomes.
* Maintaining clear and organized records to meet statutory and policy requirements.
* Engaging, motivating, and encouraging young people in their daily activities.
* Working on a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off, including 2 sleep-ins.
Essential Skills
* Full manual driving license.
* Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
* Empathetic nature with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience working with young people.
* Willingness to work towards a fully funded Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or already qualified).
