We’re looking for a Receptionist/Business Support Administrator to join our dedicated team at Lucideon Ltd in Stone, Staffordshire. About the Role As a Receptionist/Business Support Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the business. From welcoming visitors to managing reports and supporting internal teams, your contribution will help us maintain the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. What You’ll Do Greet clients and contractors in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival and departure, ensuring they sign in correctly and comply with Health & Safety requirements at the reception. Provide assistance and directions to visitors at the reception, ensuring a smooth handover to their staff contact. Prepare and maintain a weekly visitor list to keep teams informed of expected arrivals. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate person or department. Arrange taxi bookings when required to support visitors and staff. Issue access cards to contractors and maintain accurate security records. Take and relay messages accurately via email or other appropriate channels. Sort and distribute incoming mail to relevant departments and staff. Frank outgoing mail and ensure timely dispatch of standard correspondence. Manage courier consignments for UK, EU, and worldwide deliveries, including booking, tracking, and maintaining accurate records. Generate paperwork and invoices for colour standards consignments. Format reports and attach required documentation accurately and on time. Support the team with document preparation, printing, and binding as needed. Assist with meeting room bookings, catering arrangements, and refreshments for client visits. Contribute to departmental objectives by collaborating with colleagues and supporting process improvements. What We’re Looking For Qualifications GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience Previous experience in a reception or business support environment. Skills & Qualities Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Professional, friendly, and approachable. Ability to work flexibly and remain calm under pressure. Team player with a willingness to learn. Work Pattern 24 hours per week, typically over 4 days (Tuesday-Friday 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM with a 1-hour lunch break). What We Offer Permanent position. Based at our Stone, Staffordshire office.
