The External Funding & Contracts function procures and manages all of the college's subcontracted delivery, identifies funding opportunities, and supports the college in preparing strong proposals to secure external funding.
The External Funding & Contracts function collaborates with curriculum and support departments to ensure the effective delivery of funded projects and programmes.
Role Responsibilities
* Support contract management of externally funded projects, playing a key role in the operation of EPNE projects/contracts.
* Provide efficient customer and administrative support to EPNE, particularly regarding externally funded projects and contract delivery.
* Contribute to a customer-focused department by providing an appropriate and responsive service to internal and external customers.
* Maintain good communication with project delivery staff, funders, partners, and participants through face-to-face/online meetings and email.
* Respond to enquiries from external and internal customers via telephone and email.
* Support project funders, delivery partners, participants, college staff, and learners.
* Work flexibly to cover services, including potential travel to campuses, partner sites, and project locations.
* Assist in compiling data and claims, working with learner/participant data and financial information.
* Support compliance and audits related to external funding and contracts, including managing project and learner files, records, and data.
* Ensure adherence to funding rules and funder requirements.
Candidates should be highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret data are essential. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with different teams and external organizations are required. Level 3 qualification in Maths and English is also necessary.
