Role Overview We are seeking a talented Android App Developer to join our web development team. You will work alongside the Senior App Developer to design, deliver, and maintain our customer-facing Android app. This role is office-based and ideal for a developer passionate about eCommerce, app design, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on the look and feel of the app, aligned with brand and website guidelines.
Develop and evolve the Android eCommerce app in line with best practice.
Integrate and support key 3rd party partners, adding new functionality where needed.
Keep apps up to date with core Android updates to ensure usability and functionality.
Skills & Experience
Strong experience developing dynamic eCommerce apps using Kotlin, ideally in retail.
Proficient in Android SDK and Android Studio.
Familiar with RESTful APIs and XML data connections.
Experience implementing unit testing processes.
A keen eye for design to positively impact the customer experience.
Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred but not essential.
