We are seeking a Stock Allocation & Order Submission Specialist to support inventory distribution, order processing, and customer service liaison for our regional operations. This role reports directly to the 3PL Operations and Excellence Manager and will work closely with the existing Stock Allocation Specialist to ensure accurate stock allocation, timely order submission, and resolution of order-related issues.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining service levels across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, supporting approximately 2,500 orders and 7,000 order lines per month, totaling €15 million in monthly sales. The successful candidate will help ensure smooth coordination with our two 3PL warehouses, while also acting as a key contact point for customer service teams.
The Order Allocation Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of customer orders and inventory across Neogen’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. This position supports the coordination between our two 3PL warehouses, internal teams, and customer service to deliver outstanding service and operational accuracy.
Reporting to the 3PL Operations & Excellence Manager, the Order Allocation Specialist will work closely with the existing stock allocation team to manage order submissions, optimize inventory allocation, and resolve order-related issues efficiently and effectively.
This is a site-based role at our Heywood facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage the end-to-end order allocation and submission process for multiple regional markets.
2. Coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
3. Monitor order queues and proactively address issues to prevent shipment delays or service interruptions.
4. Collaborate with Customer Service teams to resolve order discrepancies, stock issues, and escalations promptly.
5. Support inventory distribution activities, ensuring optimal stock placement to meet demand and service level goals.
6. Maintain and update order status reports, ensuring clear communication across logistics and commercial teams.
7. Assist in investigating order-related complaints, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within order management and logistics operations.
9. Provide back-up support for related order management and stock allocation tasks as needed.
Education and Experience
10. Experience in order management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations within a multi-region environment.
11. Strong understanding of ERP and order processing systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms a plus.
12. Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage high-volume workflows accurately.
13. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on service excellence.
14. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.
