About the Role
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) at Enable support people with learning disabilities in Aberdeen City. Each day is different and you will be helping an individual achieve their goals and outcomes. Your role may involve personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding the individual’s social networks and connections.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the person with personal care tasks.
* Provide moving and handling support as required.
* Deliver positive behavioural support to improve well‑being.
* Help the person expand social networks and pursue interests.
* Work safely and collaboratively with the Enhance team to ensure the individual’s safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.
About You – Qualifications & Competencies
* Ability to adapt communication style to build successful relationships.
* Commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans to achieve goals.
* Positive and flexible outlook, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* No prior care experience required – values and transferable skills are key.
Employment Details
Sessional shifts – £13.45 per hour – Female support workers only – Drivers required.

Additional Information
The successful applicant will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of the start date.
The cost of the Personal Vulnerability Guarantee (PVG) is paid up front by the organisation and deducted from your wage if you are successfully appointed.
