The Permanence Team is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to work collaboratively with families and support children looked after by the Local Authority with a Care Plan of adoption. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you'll help children achieve stability and security for their future.
About the Role
As part of the Permanence Team, you will:
Undertake court work proceedings.
Use evidence-based interventions to effect positive change.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and carers.
Work closely with colleagues in the Children in Care Service and external partners.
Manage your workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet timescales.
About You
Recognised Social Work qualification (degree/diploma) and registered with Social Work England.
Experience working with looked after children (LAC), court teams, or safeguarding services.
Previous experience of adoption and Child Permanence Report (CPR) writing.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
Skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative working.
