Job Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (1 FTE) Salary: £28,778 to £32,080 per annum, Band 3 About the Post Coordinating communication and marketing activity for the Business Engagement Team and other areas of the Directorate as required. To raise awareness of the Business Engagement (BE) team marketing activity and the Business Solutions Centre (BSC) amongst the business community by developing visual and written content, particularly case studies and testimonials. Maintaining the accuracy and relevance of the business pages of the university’s website and business social media To develop marketing materials and content to support the promotion of the Team’s activities, amongst which includes apprenticeships, Student Impact projects and events, through a variety of mediums, including, but not limited to, video, podcasts, webinars, email, the University website, University of Suffolk Business social media and hard copy marketing. Create and edit video and podcast content for digital marketing, such as social media and website. To be an administrator for BSC events, with a commitment to attending events that are organised within the team. To successfully grow social media accounts for the BSC, including but not limited to, platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. About the Team The Business Engagement Team aim to support local businesses by being one of the key business support agencies in the region, providing a choice of knowledge exchange, innovation, and entrepreneurship. About You Experienced in producing high quality content for marketing and promotion purposes. Excellent understanding of IT systems. Outstanding understanding of social media, with evidence of engagement and impact to reach stakeholders. Experience in event administration. Excellent organisational skills. Outstanding communication both written and verbal, with audiences at all levels and through a variety of mediums. The ability to network and build relationships with a wide range of people, including students. Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow processes. An enthusiastic, committed, and proactive approach to work.
