Are you a commercially driven National Account Manager with experience in the wholesale and foodservice sectors?
We're recruiting for a National Account Manager to join a high-performing business unit of a major UK food business. This role is integral to the continued growth of the organisation and offers a mix of developing new business and nurturing existing accounts. You'll work directly with end-user customers, building meaningful partnerships, understanding their needs, and delivering commercially successful outcomes. Reporting into the Head of Sales, you'll collaborate with peers and internal teams to ensure service excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term account growth. From identifying new opportunities to negotiating contracts and driving retention, you'll be empowered to make a real impact.
The business has a strong footprint in the wholesale and foodservice sectors and is set to invest further, with exciting innovations due to launch next year. Person specification:
* Experience as a National Account Manager within foodservice
* Current experience within the food sector
* Demonstrable track record of managing and winning public sector or NHS accounts
* Strong mix of new business development and account management skills
* Confident working with end-user customers and internal stakeholders
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
* Driven, self-motivated, and commercially focused - this is a fully home-based role
