Role
Forward‐looking, focused, and innovative Kingston University is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the Adult Nursing academic team in the School of Nursing, Allied & Public Health. The successful candidate will enhance nursing practice, strengthen the School’s reputation in adult nursing care, and contribute to teaching, pastoral care, and university research, enterprise or professional practice.
Responsibilities
* Teach across the Adult Nursing department, inspiring students through a passion for education.
* Develop and improve educational practice, with a keen interest in research, enterprise or professional practice.
* Contribute to the pastoral care of students.
Person
Registered adult nurse with the NMC, educated to at least degree level, and experienced in caring for adult patients. Enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated, eager to share skills and expertise with the future nursing workforce.
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Applicants working in clinical practice who wish to gain academic experience will also be considered. Secondments will be considered.
Applicants must meet Kingston University’s learning and teaching standards. By the end of probation, achievement of the relevant UKPSF recognition is required, either via the accredited Introduction to Learning and Teaching programme for new lecturers or the Kingston Academic Practice Standards framework for experienced educators.

School of Nursing, Allied & Public Health. The faculty develops nurses for the future across adult, children, learning disability and mental health fields, supporting students to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to make a lasting impact on society.
Conditions and Benefits
* Location: Kingston Hill
* Contract type: Permanent
* Hours: 37 per week
* Salary: £45,025 – £59,306 per annum (depending on role level and experience)
* Full time position with a starting salary of £45,025 for a Lecturer and £50,160 for a Senior Lecturer.
* Staff are expected to be on campus for the majority of the working week.
