Johnson Controls offers an apprenticeship in Fire and Security Engineering that involves servicing, commissioning and maintaining fire and security systems across a range of customer sites.
Responsibilities
* Service, commission and maintain fire and security systems, including fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV and access control.
* Assist with commissioning and handover of new installations.
* Perform maintenance and repair tasks on-site at residential, commercial and retail properties.
* Travel between client sites, working at heights and in all weather conditions.
* Collaborate with a team to develop technical skills and progress toward qualification as a fire and security engineer.
Qualifications
* Grade 5 or C in GCSE English and Mathematics.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good physical health and ability to work at heights.
* Willingness to travel, work away and stay overnight in hotels if required.
* Team oriented, hardworking, communicative and a passion for technology and engineering.
Training
* Training will be delivered at Banham Academy.
