Overview
We're looking for a Technology Support Officer (TSO) to join our East Technology team, based at Lift Greensward and supporting schools across Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in IT while making a real difference in schools. What you'll be doing
* Providing frontline IT support to colleagues and students, helping them use technology confidently and effectively
* Supporting the setup, rollout and refresh of devices such as laptops, Chromebooks, iPads and classroom technology
* Troubleshooting issues and working closely with the wider Technology team to resolve them
* Supporting staff induction and training, sharing clear guidance and practical support
* Helping maintain reliable, secure systems across multiple school sites
* Contributing to projects that improve how technology is used across our schools, including promoting our innovative AI Strategy

Person specification / Qualifications
* Enjoy working with people and explaining technical issues clearly and calmly
* Are curious, keen to learn and motivated to develop your skills
* Are a team player who enjoys sharing ideas and learning from others
* Have experience in an IT support, technician or service-desk style role
* Have experience inducting or training colleagues in IT or systems
* Have some exposure to education or EdTech
* Formal qualifications and experience in a school or education setting are helpful but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, potential and commitment to learning.
