This is MCR central Sales and Events Manager's role, so you really must have your finger on the pulse of what's happening right here / right now in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities: Corporate Dining Sales & Business Development:
Proactively identify and secure group bookings from corporate clients, local businesses, and international groups.
Build strong relationships with new and existing corporate contacts to drive repeat business.
Collaborate with agencies and event planners to attract corporate groups from both local and international markets.
Event Management:
Oversee group reservations and manage events from corporate dinners to family celebrations and networking events.
Ensure seamless client experiences by working closely with the operations team.
Sales & Marketing Strategy:
Partner with marketing and social media teams to promote corporate offers, group packages, and special events.
Contribute to menu development and promotional strategies tailored to corporate bookings and events.
Build lasting partnerships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies to secure high-value bookings.
Requirements: 3-5 years of sales and events experience in hospitality, with a focus on corporate dining and group bookings.
Strong network of corporate contacts and a proven track record in generating corporate business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of the Manchester and North West hospitality market is a plus.
