Approved Electrician – Short-Term Contract (Motherwell/Field-Based)
SJIB Approved Electrician Rate
Van, fuel card, PPE & test equipment provided
3-month contract with potential to extend | 37 hours/week | Immediate Start
Monday to Friday, with the potential for overtime depending on workload and weekend requirements.
We're urgently seeking an Approved Electrician to join us on a short-term basis to support compliance works across various industrial and Comercial sites
Based from Motherwell, this role involves travelling to field locations across Southern Scotland, carrying out inspection, testing and remedial works to help us meet demand.
The Work Includes:
* Electrical inspection and testing to BS7671 standards
* Emergency lighting and equipment testing
* Remedial works based on inspection findings
* Working to client scopes and safety procedures
* Daily van-based travel directly to client sites
You'll Need:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
* 18th Edition (BS7671)
* AM2 (or equivalent full apprenticeship route)
* ECS Card
* Strong experience with commercial/industrial environments
* A positive attitude and ability to work independently
