Stores and FLT Operator
Location: NE27
Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour + shift enhancements
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Shifts:
* Early: 6:30am – 2:30pm
* Late: 1:30pm – 10:30pm
Purpose of the Role
Due to an increase in projects, we are recruiting an additional, experienced engineering stores operator with FLT licences (ideally Reach) to support operations within a well-established engineering company.
You will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
* Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
* Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely
* Support stock control and general warehouse duties as required
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
* Follow company procedures and site regulations at all times
Essential Requirements
* FLT licence external qualification, in date (essential)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
* Ability to work early and late shifts on a rotating basis
* Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
