Male Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant. Ref: BRR3393. Location: Shoreham-by-Sea.
This role is to support a man. The candidate should be a man. A driver’s licence is not required.

Employment status: Employed. Hours per week: Up to 5 hours per week, days and times to be discussed at interview but preferably afternoons and evenings. Hourly pay rate: £12.21-£13.50 depending on experience.
I am a 22 year old man with cerebral palsy, a very mild learning disability, a high frequency hearing impairment and I mostly use a wheelchair to get around. I am looking for some support, mainly in accessing the community, as I enjoy eating out, bowling, swimming and exploring other local towns. I also may need help with the following: preparing meals/snacks/drinks, keeping my living environment clean, assistance with personal care such as showering, toileting, dressing and transferring in and out of my wheelchair, providing company and chatting, and accessing the community – trips to town, eating out, trips to the barbers, etc.
I have a great sense of humour and love gaming, so if you share these attributes that would be ideal. You should be male, have the ability to swim and a driving licence is desirable but not essential. Although I have no pets currently this could change, so I would like my PA to be comfortable with pets and have no allergies.

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.
