Job Description: Nursing Home Manager Location: Newcastle Salary: Up to £55,000 Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our facility in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will hold a Nursing Qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with valid NMC registration and possess significant experience in a senior leadership role within a nursing or complex care setting. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Manage complex needs including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, epilepsy management, dementia, and neuro-disability. - Implement effective clinical risk management, safeguarding, infection control, and end-of-life care strategies. - Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a supportive and positive work environment. - Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery. Skills and Experience Required: - Valid Nursing Qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with NMC registration. - Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a nursing or complex care setting. - Demonstrated ability to manage complex needs and clinical risk effectively. - Strong understanding of safeguarding, infection control, and end-of-life care. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
