Located within the grounds of Ingfield Manor, it offers exceptional learning opportunities, including woodland and outdoor classroom spaces, bespoke classrooms, and a swimming pool.
About The Role
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary: £32,000 to £37,000 for Term Time Only (39 weeks) or £36,000 to £42,000 for Full Year (52 weeks). Term Time Only options are available. The Christmas and New Year period is open for annual leave, depending on start date.
Job Overview
We are recruiting a Head of Care to lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring students' needs are met and their health needs are managed in accordance with their prescribing professionals. The post holder will be the designated or deputy designated safeguarding lead and will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
1. Support staff in preparing person-centred care plans in collaboration with learners to ensure their needs and preferences are met.
2. Lead compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to provide excellent person-centred care and support for students.
3. Undertake duties and training related to the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer for safeguarding (adults and children).
4. Support pre-entry processes, including assessment of documentary evidence to inform staffing and training needs.
5. Lead on care-related pre-entry assessments to evaluate compatibility and transition support needs in consultation with the Lead Tutor.
