For the successful Engineering Administrator, our client is offering:
* Up to £33,000 DOE
* Monday - Friday, 8:00-17:00 or 7:00-16:00

* The client is willing to implement your experience with CAD systems if required
The Role - Engineering Administrator
* Update planning and scheduling boards daily
* Manage CMMS data, including component details, stock takes, and inventory
* Process initial contact forms and return-to-work documentation
* Manage holiday requests and colleague-related data in the department rota
* Maintain and update the TMS (Time Management System)
* Perform general admin tasks: replying to emails, creating spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, liaising with suppliers, OEMs, and contractors
* Compile weekly engineering KPI reports using PowerPoint
* Ensure department training matrices are current and highlight training needs
* Manage engineering PPE orders
* Conduct daily process confirmation checks and generate reports
* Report on process adherence and non-compliance
* Organize and maintain engineering documentation filing systems
* Generate correspondence and documents for the Site Engineering Manager
* Support training organization and scheduling for the engineering team
* Maintain focus on health and safety compliance
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous administration experience in an engineering, technical, or manufacturing environment (ESSENTIAL)
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) (ESSENTIAL)
* Experience with CMMS or similar software (DESIRABLE)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience managing training schedules, compliance, or PPE stock (ADVANTAGEOUS)
* Basic understanding of engineering terminology or willingness to learn
* Relevant admin qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration) or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)
* Knowledge of engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing processes (ADVANTAGEOUS)
* City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 CAD Certification (ADVANTAGEOUS)
