What you'll be doing:
As Horticultural Manager, you will take ownership of the plant area, ensuring high standards of presentation, customer service, and commercial performance. You will play a key role in day-to-day retail operations, with regular responsibility for covering wider store management duties when required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and developing the plant area to maintain strong retail standards and an excellent customer experience
* Leading, supporting, and motivating a small team within the department
* Taking responsibility for stock control, ordering, and replenishment
* Providing practical horticultural advice and guidance to customers
* Covering general store management duties on a regular basis
* Working closely with senior management to support operational delivery and improvements
* Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and store procedures
