Quantity Surveyor
Location: London-based (with UK-wide travel)
Projects: Multiple large works projects (circa £250k), residential properties & schools
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + car allowance and other benefits

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and dynamic specialist contractor team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. While the role is London-based, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide as required.
You will be the Quantity Surveyor responsible for multiple projects simultaneously, including large works projects valued around £250k – these are residential reinstatement works and education sector projects (schools).
Key Responsibilities
* Managing cost control and commercial performance across multiple projects
* Preparing cost plans, budgets, estimates, and valuations
* Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
* Managing variations, change control, and final accounts
* Conducting site visits and attending progress meetings
* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to contractual requirements
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Quantity Surveyor Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
* Experience working on large works projects (circa £250k), residential, and/or education projects
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
