Salary: £33,000 - 38,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience delivering 1st and 2nd line IT support Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and associated cloud services Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls) Experience managing users and permissions within Active Directory and Azure environments Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of service performance Strong customer-focused mindset with clear verbal and written communication skills Experience working within structured or compliant IT environments Willingness to travel to other UK sites as required Full UK driving licence Responsibilities: Providing remote and onsite 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users Owning incidents and service requests through to resolution, meeting agreed SLAs Acting as a point of escalation for IT issues and supporting service recovery Supporting local infrastructure, servers, networks, and endpoint environments Managing users, groups, permissions, and devices across Microsoft-based platforms Building, configuring, and deploying hardware and software Supporting backup monitoring, endpoint security, and proactive estate monitoring Maintaining accurate IT asset records and technical documentation Assisting with IT projects, system improvements, and new technology deployments Working in line with ITIL practices, security policies, and quality standards Technologies: Active Directory Azure Cloud Hardware Support ITIL LAN Microsoft 365 Security Windows Office 365 More: We are a UK-based organisation seeking an IT Specialist to support our day-to-day IT operations and local technology environment.
