Our Pharmacy in Hamilton, Mill Road, is looking for a Pharmacist with independent prescribing qualifications to join their team. About the role
As a Pharmacist with us, you’ll provide excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s about listening, providing expert advice, and reassurance. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
4. Conducting reviews via audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need
You should have a professional, caring character with a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:
1. Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
2. Demonstrate high professional standards and respect from stakeholders, peers, and patients
3. Have a passion for community pharmacy and delivering excellent care
4. Be collaborative and team-oriented
5. Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local services
6. Be an effective communicator, able to meet diverse customer needs
