Global Finance Manager – CCER (Close, Consolidations and External Reporting) – Account to Report (A2R) within the CFIN (Central Finance) TransAct deployment
Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will support initiatives within the Close, Consolidations and External Reporting workstream related to developing and deploying new Account to Report processes across Finance Functions. This role partners across the Finance 3-tier model to accelerate visibility to financial close data by leveraging technology to understand and improve processes. Specific responsibilities include:
* Support initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate the financial close processes
* Incorporate input from key stakeholders into recommendations and communicate changes with interdependencies considered
* Interact with multiple teams and leaders; assist in shaping Global Finance processes
* Participate in CFIN/A2R process integration and development analysis across multiple processes for end-to-end continuity
* Partner with the SAP Central Finance project team to meet key milestones
* Support global teams through change in how we work, shaping the future of J&J Finance
* Develop and execute action plans to ensure integration points are met across SigniFi workstreams (Planning and Forecasting, Path to Monthly Close, etc.)
* Collaborate with CCER initiatives to mitigate risks and ensure integration in design outputs and key points, including Close Optimization, aCREW, TranSCend/TransAct workstreams
Qualifications and requirements
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related business field is required
* Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred
* A minimum of 5 years of general finance/accounting experience is required
* Strong independent analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to influence and communicate with senior management
* Ability to anticipate challenges and propose alternatives
* Planning, prioritization and project management skills are highly preferred
* Collaborative style; able to work effectively in a matrix organization
* Ability to leverage technology in a Global role is required
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills are required
* Experience with financial reporting/accounting to report processes is preferred
Location and travel
This position would ideally be in the Berkshire area of the UK; if not, the role requires working EMEA hours, with occasional flexibility for US-based teams. Up to 10% domestic/international travel may be required.
Compensation and contract details
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate.
