Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Duties:
Responsibilities include: Performs and approves engineering solutions within projects and/or operations within projects, and manufacturing, fabrication and installation sites, in accordance with department, project, manufacturing, fabrication, installation instructions, schedule and processes and HSE requirements - Technically correct engineering analysis. Optimize engineering solutions - Technical assistance within projects, manufacturing, fabrication and installation sites. Approves design basis. Coordinates engineering activities on tenders and project execution. Supervise subcontractors. Guarantees the compliance of engineering solutions with client requirements, industry standards, HSE, engineering processes, and best practices for the discipline. Provide guidance and training to Engineers under supervision/coordination. Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and engineering teams.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Project Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Experience with design of subsea production systems for oil and gas industry.
2. Experience with manufacturing, assembly and testing of subsea production systems for oil and gas industry.
3. Experience with Engineering systems (e.g. PLM software) and SAP.
4. Experience in oil and gas industry standards such as API 17D, API 6A, ASME B31.3 and B31.8
5. Experience with manufacturing environment, including support to product and service delivery, troubleshooting, technical investigations.
6. Experience leading and executing root cause analysis investigations with industry methods (5Whys/8D method).
7. Experience with Lean product and processes development.
