We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and dedicated Science Teacher to join a specialist SEMH provision, supporting pupils who benefit from a nurturing, structured, and relationship-led approach to learning.
This role is ideal for a teacher who understands that behaviour is communication and is confident in using positive behaviour strategies to help pupils re-engage with education. You will deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to individual needs, helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of achievement.
You’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team that places strong emphasis on consistency, clear boundaries, and emotional wellbeing, creating a safe environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be passionate about teaching Science within a SEMH setting
* Have strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
* Be able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
* Adapt teaching to meet a range of emotional and learning needs
* Work collaboratively with support staff and pastoral teams
