Our client, is a leading set of Barristers’ Chambers, widely respected for its formidable reputation across a broad range of practice areas. Chambers is equally known for its exceptional client service, delivered by both Members and its outstanding staff team.
Chambers is now seeking a capable and experienced Fees Clerk to join its dedicated administration team. This is a vital position, working closely with the Practice Directors, Members of Chambers, and external providers to ensure the smooth operation of Chambers’ billing and fee collection processes.
The Role:
* To Monitor and chase outstanding fees.
* Work closely with practice directors on aged debt recovery.
* Main contact for external fee recovery partners.
* Handle general fee-related queries.
* Support costs budgeting requirements.
* Prepare data, reports and information for internal meetings.
* Produce ‘unbilled fees’ and other reports.
* Play active role in key elements of Chambers’ billing requirements.
The Person:
* Experience in fee collection gained within a barristers’ chambers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external providers.
* Knowledge of LAA and CFA funding.
