Are you looking for a flexible, rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? New Way Tuition is searching for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Outreach Tutors to support young people who can’t access mainstream education.
We deliver bespoke, 1-to-1 learning across Essex in student's homes or local libraries, working with students from Early Years through to Year 11. Our learners may be managing a range of challenges—such as SEN, SEMH needs, or risk of exclusion—and they need tutors who are patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping them thrive.
Your role will include:
âś… Delivering personalised lessons in English, Maths, and PSHE
âś… Supporting emotional wellbeing and life skills
âś… Mentoring students to boost confidence and independence
âś… Teaching in safe, familiar settings like homes, libraries, and schools
You’ll need to bring:
* Strong subject knowledge in core areas
* Experience with young people, especially in alternative or SEN settings
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Reliability, resilience, and a calm, nurturing approach
