Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, as well as a background in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in assembly processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
