As a HR Advisor at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
As part of a busy HR team, you will advise and support managers in your client groups in all day to day operational HR matters, acting as a true business partner. Whilst managing the day to day operational aspects of HR you will also be involved in working closely with stakeholders to understand business and operational efficiencies and in turn improving business performance by driving the people agenda to achieve business results.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide business partnering support to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of end-to-end HR processes. Proactive engagement with line managers and supervisors will be a fundamental feature of the role.
2. Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors and team members.
3. Support line managers and supervisors to set goals for Team Members, assess capability and drive calibration across the performance management cycle.
4. Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across our operational business to create a collaborative approach to people related initiatives
5. Management of the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion partnering with hiring managers to ensure quality of talent.
6. Support Team Member engagement, retention and culture enhancement initiatives and promotion of health and wellbeing.
7. Manage the on-boarding, HR orientation & probation review processes for all new Team Members in allocated client groups
8. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure they are applied consistently and updated where necessary
9. Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and instil HR practices/processes which add value
10. Proactively manage absence (short term and long term) and refer team members to occupational health as and when required.
11. Professional handling of disciplinary & grievance issues
12. Supporting payroll administration for weekly paid team members
13. Planning, organising and delivering training & development for team members at all levels
Experience & Qualifications:
14. HR related Degree advantageous.
15. CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or relevant professional qualification.
16. Applicants must be able to work as part of a flexible HR team, prioritise the workload and complete tasks and objectives in a timely manner.
17. Track record of acting as a true HR Business Partner where you have provided operational HR support
18. Experience of working in a face paced, complex environment and able to balance the operational demands of the business along with other projects and initiatives.
19. Applicants must have a good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice and the ability and experience of applying it in a practical manner. Ideally within a manufacturing environment.

20. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
21. Confident working independently
22. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
23. Excellent planning and organizational skills
24. Ability to produce accurate work
25. Ability to identify and support improvements to HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience
26. An understanding and experience in applying AI tools to support HR practices would be advantageous
