Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role for a Gatehouse Security Officer located in Launceston. The Gatehouse Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access at the gatehouse, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring the security of the premises. Daily tasks include checking identification, logging visitor details, responding to security incidents, and maintaining detailed records. The officer will also ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Experience in security operations and access control
* Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
* Strong attention to detail and observation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid SIA license is required
* First Aid certification is an advantage
* Previous experience in a gatehouse role is desirable
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
