Term: Permanent
Salary: £37,800 per annum, Band F, Level 3
Hours: 35 hours per week - 5 days a week during probation. Option to work from home up to 2 days a week after probation.

A bit about the role
Unity is a vibrant insurance broker supporting Scouts, youth organisations, and charities with their ongoing insurance and renewal needs. This role sits within a young, diverse team united by a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
As Deputy Renewals Manager, you will oversee and coordinate work across part of the Renewals team, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and technical support. Responsibilities include delivering training (including side-by-side coaching), monitoring compliance, reviewing operational and performance reports, managing audits, conducting monthly one-to-ones and annual appraisals, and supporting personal development plans. You will also manage aged debt and account queries, ensure retention and income targets are met, and support the Renewals Manager with work allocation, referrals, and placements.
The role involves training and supporting both new starters and existing team members, with full training provided. While insurance experience is beneficial, it is not essential. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding clients’ needs and helping them make informed decisions to protect their organisations. The role also offers involvement in projects and volunteering initiatives.
